Developing optimal wear performance for nylon 6 loaded up with Boron Nitride (PA6/BN) composites using Taguchi direct and aspect ratio-based Taguchi-Pareto method

Abstract Although the wear performance of nylon-6/Boron Nitride (PA6/BN) composites has been studied, their concurrent optimization and prioritization are scarce in literature. Considering this shortcoming, paper proposes a Taguchi-Pareto-based framework incorporating discrimination signal-to-noise ratio analysis, to enhance PA6/BN composites. Besides direct factors that consider weight percentage particulate additives nylon 6, sliding distance, speed normal load, combinations aspect ratios were considered eighteen cases where all four rotation. The novel contribution developed Taguchi-Pareto-oriented (TPDA) based on its stepwise application analysis is noted as follows: (1) establishment principal by contemplating importance together with impact levels (2) optimal threatening operational efficiency structures which they made up considering signal noise 80-20 rule Pareto analysis. results obtained from proposed TPDA validated using experimental data It thought aids composite engineer making prudent fabrication decisions, assisting them successfully maintain how for fabricated while operation.
